Good Enough?

Many days we are so consumed with the urgent needs of the present that we really don’t think about life beyond the here and now. Even those of us who are followers of Jesus can become so busy with the ‘stuff of life’ that we lose sight of the fact that life as we know it on this Earth is only temporary. The fact is, one day you will die. The question is, where will you go when you die? If someone asked you that question right now could you answer without hesitation and with the utmost confidence that you are going to Heaven? Are you sure? Are you really really sure? If so, can you explain to someone outside of the faith why you are so certain? This Sunday as we celebrate Vacation Bible School we will go back to basics, taking a look into the most memorized verse of the Bible as we seek to answer the question, “What makes you so sure you are going to Heaven?“
